How It Works
1. Arm
Set up takes under two minutes: choose your emergency contacts, pick where recordings back up (your own Google Drive, Backblaze, or Nextcloud account), and connect your live-streaming destinations — YouTube Live plus a second platform like TikTok via RTMP. SentryLens works quietly in the background until you need it.
2. Trigger
One tap on the Lock Button — or an automatic trigger like a detected fall or vehicle crash — starts dual-camera recording, live backup, and location sharing with your emergency contacts. Everything happens at once, no menus required.
3. Protect
Footage uploads straight from your phone to your personal cloud in encrypted, continuous 20-second segments. Your contacts get an SMS with your live location. Your video bytes and raw GPS coordinates never touch SentryLens servers.
4. Create
Creators get the same pipeline without the emergency layer: dual-camera split-screen or picture-in-picture recording, simultaneous live streaming to YouTube Live and a second RTMP destination like TikTok, and optional VTuber avatar overlays.
Privacy Architecture
SentryLens is built on a strict zero-hoarding model. Our servers only hold what's needed to run your account:
- No video on our servers. Recordings and live streams travel directly from your device to the destinations you configure — your Drive, your bucket, your streaming platform. We never proxy, store, or inspect media.
- No readable location. Emergency location data is encrypted on-device before it is relayed. We can route it; we can't read it.
- Your cloud, your keys. Cloud backups go to storage accounts you own and authorize. Revoke access any time from the provider's side or in-app.

Billing is handled securely through our payment providers; we never store card numbers. Manage or cancel your subscription any time in-app.
